Zaandam city centre is only 10 min by train from the capital Amsterdam. It offers a view of old Dutch rural architectures. The newly build shopping centre is
completely designed in an authentic old- fashioned Dutch style, connecting it to the newly restructured main shopping streets providing lots of great clothes
shops. The old city centre consists of old buildings, small streets and traditional looking green wooden houses "Zaanse huisjes" with the Zaan River floating
through the city centre. It is a wonderful town to spend a day walking around for sightseeing and shopping.
