1. Travel independently
Do you recognise the burden of waiting on a
group for gatherings and pickups or you can’t
move on to the next thing because of a group
activity. Travel independently on your own
pace, it is really not so complicated for a
foreigner nor does it have to be so costy.
We provide you with an interesting and fun
travel program with freedom to: choose day
trips and excursions of your preference, use of
public transportation, extend your stay, to
upgrade accommodation or decide on which
time you want to wake up in the morning.
Our programs don't have set departure dates,
you can depart any date you desire and travel
independently together with your own travel
companions. You will make use of private
road transfers or taking the local public
transport which we will pre-arrange for your
comfort.
2. Free time
A lot of free time is included in our travel
programs for you to explore independently,
soak up the atmosphere, meet the locals and
go off the beaten track. Optional you can
choose from our activities and day
excursions. Museum, festival and concert
entrance tickets we can arrange for you at
request. Tickets for smaller events, museums
and activities can be best bought directly at
the entrance, giving you more flexibility on
deciding what you wish to do.
3. In-depth Experience
No hopping from one location to another. Our
travel programs are meant to be holidays,
they are not a race to see as many countries
possible in a short time. Spending more than
2 nights at one location takes away the
burden of moving your luggage every single
day and provides you with a more in-depth
travel experience at a relaxed pace. You will
have more time to really soak up the
atmosphere and it gives you great options for
optional activities and countryside day
excursions of your preference.
4. Private activities & genuine locals
For those wanting to experience the culture
and local life we offer a variety of tours with
genuine local people. These locals are often
passionate about a certain history, area or
event and a lot of them possess a degree in
history. They love their city and showing
others the hidden gems and their favourite
authentic places. By touring with a local you
will get unique insights in a personal way on
culture, history, local life an great spots only
locals can know about. If you have a special
interest, then you might want to let us know
about it, because there are some really
original, fun and most diverse tours available.

5. Dinner at a local's home
Entering the home of a local person and see
how they live, meet their family or partner and
enjoy together a great meal. Share stories
and laughs, learn about local life and culture,
watch the local host work the kitchen and get
great local recipes. Who knows you will make
new friends for life. Dinner with a local can be
arranged in most cities of Europe.
6. Authentic accommodations
When we speak about authentic
accommodation we kind of mean it.
The hotels included in our programs are
authentic and often privately owned. The
accommodations we offer are hand picked,
selected on their location, atmosphere, views
and facilities. We try to find the most
traditional, nicest and extraordinary hotels to
make your holiday unforgettable. We do not
include any chained-brand hotels.
7. Tailor made
Although we offer holiday packages, each
program is tailor made and exists out of
many separate components. What sets us a
part is that Discover Europe does not have
any agreements with hotels, shops or
activities of which will we try to force or
obligate you to visit for commercial reasons.
We offer a personalised service and travel
program that can be further adjusted to your
needs: add or change activities, extend your
stay, upgrade your accommodation and local
transport. If you have any special interests or
location that you wish to see, we will do our
best to include this in your travel program.
Special holidays for honeymooners, groups
and families can be arranged on request.
8. Personalised service
We do our best to arrange an amazing
holiday, but more we do our best to create a
local experience you will never forget. Being
Dutch we travelled through Europe our entire
lives and have visted uncountable places.
With our extensive knowledge and good local
resources we can provide you with an unique
and authentic travel experience. Because we
